Hello, Flying Fish family!

Happy Finals Eve! We can’t wait to watch all of the amazing swimming that will be happening tomorrow. We cannot believe the last meet of the season is here already. Time flies when you’re having fun!

Following is some updated information for tomorrow, specifically regarding the timing of the day. Some of the times have changed since our last e-mail, so please read carefully. I have attached a photo of the deck layout and where our team has been assigned to set up. Please take a look at it!

6:00am: Deck Opens for Set-Up & Gear Drop Off

7:00am: 10 & Under swimmers should report no later than this time to get checked-in and ready for warm ups. Events are listed in the Swimtopia app, so you are welcome to write your swimmer(s) events on their hand in permanent marker prior to arriving tomorrow.

7:25-7:45am: 10 & Under Warm Ups (First session timers & Certified Officials keep an ear out for meeting announcements during this time period.)

7:50am: First events called to Clerk of Course

8:00am: First Session of the meet begins

10:00am: 11 & Older Swimmers should report no later than this time to get checked-in and ready for warm ups. Events are listed in the Swimtopia app, so you are welcome to write your swimmer(s) events on their hand in permanent marker prior to arriving tomorrow.

(Times following this are estimated. Times may be pushed back a bit if the first session takes longer than anticipated.)

10:40-10:55am: 11 & Older Warm Ups (Second & third session timers & Certified Officials keep an ear out for meeting announcements during this time period.)

11:00am: First events of the Second Session called to Clerk of Course

11:05am: Second Session of the meet begins

There will only be a 10 minute break between the Second Session and the Third Session to switch volunteer positions.

We *STILL* need to fill the role of Announcer for the Third Session. Please consider filling this slot for us!

Unfortunately, rain is in the forecast for tomorrow, so come prepared for that. There is no scheduled make-up date, so the meet will go on even if it is raining. If the meet is paused or delayed, please DO NOT leave! The meet will re-start as soon as we are cleared to do so.
