Good morning, Flying Fish families!

Congratulations to all of our swimmers for another amazing meet! Everyone has been swimming so well and we saw a ton of personal best times from last night! As usual, I have attached the results document to this email.

Last night was kind of a wild ride, wasn’t it? Thank you all for your hard work & flexibility both last night (and this morning) as we got everything set up and taken down in record time in between storms. We say this constantly, but we truly could not have made the meet happen without you all. Our little Ferry Farm swim family is the best! 

Our next swim meet is Monday evening at Aquia Harbor. Swimmer & volunteer sign up is open and, at the moment, we are missing responses from 35 swimmers at this time. Please go into Swimtopia today and let us know if your family will be there! Coach Lindsay needs to know ASAP who will be attending. From a volunteer perspective, we need to fill in two Stroke & Turn shifts, second half Data Clerk, & second half Clerk of Course.

I just want to put out a quick reminder about meet participation for swimmers. According to RSL rules, in order to be eligible to compete in the Division Finals meet on July 20th, all swimmers ages 7 & older need to have competed in TWO meets during the regular season. Swimmers ages 6 & under only need to have competed in one meet to be eligible. We only have two meets left in the regular season and we do have a few swimmers who either haven’t participated in a meet yet or who have only swam in one meet so far. To plan ahead for next week, Coach Lindsay wanted me to let you all know that we will have morning practice the day after the Aquia Harbor meet, but we will NOT have practice on the 4th of July!
